Marina Docci è professore associato di Restauro architettonico presso la Sapienza Università di Roma, dove insegna nel corso di laurea magistrale a ciclo unico in Architettura ed è componente del collegio di dottorato in Storia Disegno e Restauro dell’Architettura. Svolge la propria attività di ricerca nell’ambito della conservazione e della valorizzazione dei beni culturali, con particolare riguardo alla conoscenza, all’analisi e alla valutazione dei processi di trasformazione della città e delle sue architetture e al recupero del patrimonio industriale dismesso. È autrice di numerose pubblicazioni e membro del comitato di direzione della rivista «Patrimonio Industriale» e del «Bollettino del Centro di Studi per la Storia dell’Architettura».È attualmente membro del Consiglio direttivo della SIRA-Società Italiana per il Restauro dell’Architettura (2021-2024). e vicepresidente di AIPAI- Associazione Italiana per il Patrimonio Archeologico Industriale (2022-2025).
