Carmen Bizzarri, phd attualmente ricopre il ruolo di professore associato in geografia economica presso l’Università Europea di Roma. Già coordinatrice del Master in Management delle Organizzazioni Turistiche presso l’Università Europea di Roma e già docente a contratto in diverse università statali italiane. Ha al suo attivo due monografie, diversi contributi in numerosi volumi in collettanea e pubblicazioni in riviste nazionali e internazionali sui temi del turismo e sulla valorizzazione sostenibile e inclusiva delle risorse a fini turistici nei diversi contesti territoriali. È componente del comitato scientifico del centro di ricerche “Welfare generativo, sostenibilità e diritti” presso l’Università Europea di Roma, del Forum internazionale del Gran Sasso, BTO, del comitato per il turismo delle Radici presso il Maeci e tesoriere della Sistur e vice presidente nazionale di Confassociazioni turismo, con delega al turismo sostenibile. È parte del Scientific Advisory Board della nuova serie “Tourism Studies in the MediterraneanRegion e dello Science Publishing Group, ed è anche revisore per numerose riviste internazionali.
