Economista della cultura, con una lunga esperienza di ricerca sull’impatto di politiche e interventi, la pianificazione e valutazione strategica per il settore culturale, i dati per fondare le decisioni e accompagnare la loro attuazione, è ricercatrice senior all’ISTAT, componente dell’Expert Group on Culture Statistics di Eurostat e membro del consiglio direttivo dell’Associazione per l’Economia della cultura. È inoltre tra i fondatori e vicepresidente del Cultural Welfare Center. Ha al suo attivo numerosi progetti europei e consulenze per la Commissione europea.

Dal 1999 è titolare di corsi presso l’Università di Roma Tor Vergata e l’Università Roma Tre. I suoi temi di studio sono la partecipazione e pratica culturale, l’economia e la gestione delle organizzazioni culturali; il contributo della cultura allo sviluppo sostenibile; il rapporto fra arte e cultura, benessere e salute e il welfare culturale.
