Alessandro Abis laureato in Geoingegneria presso l’Università di Cagliari, sviluppa competenze in ambito minerario con esperienze in progetti minerari in diversi continenti e in Sardegna, come Responsabile del Sottosuolo e Vicedirettore della Fluorite di Silius S.p.A., (miniera di Fluorite e
Galena). Esperienze successive in ambito imprenditoriale turistico, nella formazione e nel destination management, gli consentono di acquisire skills trasversali adatti a contribuire alla promozione della cultura del mining heritage e del turismo, in particolare geologico e minerario. E’ anche Coordinatore Regionale per la Sardegna e già Vicepresidente Nazionale di AIGAE, Associazione Italiana Guide Ambientali Escursionistiche. Fa parte del Comitato Tecnico Scientifico dell’Associazione Villaggio Normann”, ed è attualmente Responsabile dell’Area Tutela e Sviluppo del Territorio del Parco Geominerario Storico Ambientale della Sardegna.
