HERITAGE CRIMES: PATRIMONIO CULTURALE, RISCHI E CONFLITTI

L’importanza e il ruolo della cultura negli scenari di crisi dovuta a guerre o disastri naturali è cresciuto in maniera rilevante negli ultimi anni, a causa dell’emergere di nuove forme di conflitti e dell’intensificarsi di disastri ambientali in molte aree del mondo. Questa crescita di interesse attorno al tema ha prodotto numerose campagne internazionali aventi lo scopo di rispondere a livello globale, alle necessità di protezione del patrimonio culturale, di salvaguardia delle comunità e delle espressioni culturali, nonché del controllo di attività ed traffici illeciti.


La protezione del patrimonio culturale dalle emergenze richiede competenze, strumenti e modalità operative specifiche. Tutti gli aspetti diventano più strategici che mai visti gli scenari e le sfide emergenti poste dagli attuali cambiamenti in corso nel mondo.


La Fondazione Santagata per l’Economia della Cultura (ente di ricerca, formazione e consulenza nell’ambito dell’economia della cultura, con sede a Torino), rinnovando la partnership con Ro.Me Museum Exhibition, organizza il panel “HERITAGE CRIMES: PATRIMONIO CULTURALE, RISCHI e CONFLITTI”, per approfondire le tematiche sviluppate e trattate nell’ambito del Master internazionale in Cultural Property Protection in Crisis Response.
