Amedeo Lepore è Professore Ordinario di Storia Economica presso il Dipartimento di Economia dell’Università della Campania Luigi Vanvitelli. Insegna Storia dell’Economia e dell’Impresa presso il Dipartimento di Impresa e Management della LUISS. Fa parte del Dottorato Nazionale in “Osservazione della terra” e del Dottorato di ricerca “Humanities and Technologies: an integratedresearchpath”. È componente del Consiglio di Amministrazione della SVIMEZ e del Consiglio direttivo di Merita Meridione-Italia e di ANIMI. Fa parte del Comitato Scientifico dell’Osservatorio per le Risorse Pubbliche istituito presso la Corte dei conti e della Rivista della Corte dei conti. È membro del Gruppo di Coordinamento Nazionale per la Bioeconomia, presso la Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri. Ha pubblicato volumi e saggi, in Italia e all’estero, sulla storia economica italiana ed europea, sull’evoluzione dell’economia del Mezzogiorno, sulla storia e sugli archivi d’impresa, sulla storia della contabilità e del marketing. I suoi attuali ambiti di ricerca riguardano il processo di globalizzazione e la recente rivoluzione tecnologica e industriale, le dinamiche della bioeconomia circolare, l’evoluzione dei divari e del dualismo economico italiano.
