Fonte continua di ispirazione, il patrimonio culturale è al centro del processo creativo di nuove forme di valorizzazione digitale, il cui obiettivo è creare esperienze di conoscenza coinvolgendo anzitutto pubblici sempre più ampi, anche attraverso le dinamiche e il linguaggio del videogioco.  

Punto di partenza imprescindibile di questo percorso resta il metadato, descrittivo, multimediale ed esito di campagne di catalogazione e digitalizzazione che, tramite l’aggiunta di strategie SEO, tassonomie, legami dinamici con altri open data e molto altro, ha aperto la strada a nuovi sistemi di fruizione, di apprendimento e di co-partecipazione.  

Dal catalogo online alle mostre virtuali, dai servizi hi-tech alle esperienze interattive, sono molteplici le connessioni tra il patrimonio culturale e le tecnologie al suo servizio, amplificandone le potenzialità narrative ed emozionali.
