Fondazione Santagata per l’Economia della Cultura è un’organizzazione indipendente fondata nel 2018 che si occupa di ricerca, formazione e supporto per il settore culturale in cinque aree: patrimonio culturale, patrimonio immateriale, creatività, turismo e transizione equa. Sono inoltre nella missione della Fondazione il rafforzamento delle reti collaborative tra operatori culturali e il supporto all’internazionalizzazione delle conoscenze, al fine di valorizzare la capacità di impatto sociale ed economico della cultura. La Fondazione ha ricevuto nel 2023 il riconoscimento ufficiale di “Foundation in Official Relations with UNESCO” e nel 2024 di “NGO to act in advisory capacity to the UNESCO ICH Committee”.Fondazione è tra i partner fondatori della Rete G20 di istituzioni impegnate nel campo della formazione per la gestione del patrimonio culturale, membro del “Sustainable Development Solutions Network” delle Nazioni Unite e del “Climate Heritage Network”
