René Capovin è Direttore del musil – museo dell’industria e del lavoro di Brescia. Fa parte di EMA – European Museum Academy ed è ideatore di Museums in Short, concorso internazionale per video realizzati da o per musei. Dal 2020 insegna all’Accademia di Brera museologia e patrimonio culturale. Ha pubblicato articoli su riviste italiane e straniere, trattando soprattutto temi culturali e politici. Tra le ultime pubblicazioni: “Chi lo sa? Scienza e intellettuali alla prova del Covid-19”, in Rivista di antropologia contemporanea, 2021; “Questioni di spazio. Olivetti attraverso Sloterdijk”, in Ospite Ingrato. Umanesimo e tecnologia. Il laboratorio Olivetti, Quodlibet, 2021, pp. 39-46. Tra il 1999 e il 2003 ha diretto un centro di accoglienza di richiedenti asilo e rifugiati.
