Vicepreside della Facoltà di Architettura di Roma “Sapienza” dal 2015 al 2020, è Professore associato in Disegno dell’Architettura, inoltre svolgeattività di insegnamento presso 3 master e nel Dottorato del Dipartimento di Storia, Disegno e Restauro dell’Architettura (DSDRA).
Ha collaborato e studiato in studi internazionali di architettura come il Taller de Arquitectura di Ricardo Bofill in Spagna, e lo studio di PaoloPortoghesi.
Dal 2007 al 2017 è stato nominato dal Papa Benedetto XVI componente dellaCommissione Permanente per la Tutela dei Monumenti Storici ed Artisticidella Santa Sede, presso il Vaticano (presieduta dal prof. AntonioPaolucci).
Vincitore di numerosi premi e riconoscimenti nazionali ed internazionali trai quali la Medaglia di Rappresentanza ricevuta nel 2015 dal Presidente della Repubblica italiana, Sergio Mattarella, per la ricerca e la cultura per la Mostra “Giuseppe Terragni a Roma 2015 ” (Mostra ospitata negli Stati Unitiin Australia). È autore di quattro monografie e di più di 100 pubblicazioni scientifiche, nazionali e internazionali.
